First episode of a series hosted by talented Italian chef Giorgio Alessio.
Giorgio is passionate about food and always cooks using the finest and freshest ingredients. His secret: use local product. Giorgio is inspiring a new wave of italian food with a twist of Yorkshire, where he now lives and runs his award winning restaurant.

Giorgio’s mission is to demonstrate to the  world that British food can be fresh and original, whilst keeping traditions. Bringing Yorkshire local products back to Italy, he is showing local people and food judges that it can taste great, using British products! We also discover Giorgio choosing local Italian product to take back to his Yorkshire restaurant, including one of his fauvorites: The white truffle. Giorgio plans to further promote UK food around the world by travelling to other destinations.
